Overview
The Windows desktop app is a convenient way to use the web app in a Windows environment. It uses an embedded browser to provide most functionality. It is possible to accidentally deny permission to the microphone as part of the setup process. Due to the fact that the browser is embedded there is no access to the settings to turn the microphone back on.
Solution
If this happens the following steps can be used to manually clear the settings.

These steps involve accessing sensitive areas of the Windows environment and are meant to be followed only by qualified IT personnel. Please consult with your IT support team before attempting these steps.
- Exit from the Agilico Connect for Windows Desktop App
- Navigate to your user profile local AppData folder
- Open the sub folder named AgilicoConnectV5forWindows
- Delete the contents of the folder
- Restart the Agilico Connect for Windows Desktop App
The app will request authentication and will complete the microphone permission request as if it had been used for the first time. If prompted, please allow access to the microphone.
