In the latest release of the Agilico Connect Desktop Application (Version 1.8.1648, Build ID 337ac051), the dial pad is now hidden by default.

This change has been introduced to streamline the user experience, as calls can be placed directly from the search bar without needing to open the dial pad.

Making Calls Using the Search Bar

The quickest way to place a call is by using the search bar at the top of the application.

To place a call:

1. Enter the telephone number into the search bar.
2. Either:
   • Press Enter/Return on your keyboard, or
   • Click the Phone icon displayed next to the number.

Tip: The search bar can be used for both internal extensions and external telephone numbers.

Displaying the Dial Pad

If you prefer using the traditional dial pad, it can still be accessed at any time.

To reveal the dial pad:

1. Locate the Dial section within the application.
2. Click the down arrow beside the Dial heading.
3. The dial pad will expand and become visible.

Result

The full dial pad will now be displayed and available for use.
