If your Yealink DECT handset displays No Default Line or No Matched Line, the base station may have lost its configuration or account assignment and may need to be reprovisioned.
Follow the steps below to reconnect the base station to the Agilico provisioning platform and restore service.
Prerequisites
You will need:
- Access to the Yealink DECT base station.
- Access to a registered handset.
- A PC or laptop connected to the same network as the base station.
- The Agilico provisioning URL: http://dmcconnect.hp2k.co.uk/devicelogic/yealink/
Step 1: Obtain the Base Station IP Address
- Using the handset, navigate to Menu > Status > Base Status.
- Make a note of the IP address displayed.
Example: 192.168.1.100
Step 2: Access the Base Station Web Interface
Depending on how the base station has been configured, access to the web interface may be restricted. If you are unable to log in, you may need to factory reset the base station first.
- Ensure the base station is powered on.
- Press and hold the paging button on the front of the base station for approximately 10 to 15 seconds.
- Continue holding until the LED changes state and the base begins the reset process.
- Release the button and allow several minutes for the base station to reboot.
Open a web browser and browse to the IP address of the base station.
Example: http://192.168.1.100
Log in using the administrator credentials for the base station.
Username: admin
Password: admin
Step 3: Configure the Provisioning Server
Navigate to Settings > Auto Provision.
Locate the field labelled Server URL.
Enter the following URL:
http://dmcconnect.hp2k.co.uk/devicelogic/yealink/
Click Confirm to save the changes.
Step 4: Force Provisioning
Whilst still on the Auto Provision page, select Auto Provision Now.
The base station will contact the provisioning server and download its latest configuration.
Allow several minutes for the process to complete.
Step 5: Reboot the Base Station
Once provisioning has completed, navigate to Settings > Upgrade.
Select Reboot.
Alternatively, disconnect the power from the base station for 30 seconds and reconnect it.
Allow the base station to fully restart.
Step 6: Verify Service
Once the base station has restarted, the following messages should no longer be displayed:
- No Default Line
- No Matched Line
The handset should now display the assigned extension or account name.
Please test:
- Outbound calling
- Inbound calling
- Internal extension calling
If the issue persists and the handset still displays either message, please contact Agilico Support.
Setting the Default Line
Following a successful reprovision, you may need to manually select the correct default line on the handset.
If the handset displays multiple lines or does not automatically select the correct account, follow the steps below.
Yealink W56H, W57R and W59R Handsets
- Press the Menu button.
- Navigate to Menu > Settings > Telephony > Default Line.
- Select the required line or account.
- Press Save.
If your extension name or account name is available, select this as the Default Line.
Alternative Method
On some firmware versions, the Default Line setting is located under:
Menu > Settings > Select Base > Default Line
Select the required account and save the changes.
Verifying the Default Line
Once selected:
- Return to the home screen.
- Confirm the account name is displayed.
- Test making an outbound call.
- Test receiving an inbound call.
Note: If the handset successfully registers to the base station but still displays "No Matched Line", this usually indicates that the handset has not been assigned to a telephone line on the base station or the base station has not yet successfully downloaded its configuration. In most cases, forcing a reprovision and then selecting the correct default line resolves the issue.
Information Required by Agilico Support
If the issue persists, please provide:
- Base Station MAC Address
- Base Station IP Address
- Handset Model
- A photo of the handset display
- A screenshot of the Auto Provision page showing the configured Server URL
This information will allow Agilico Support to investigate the provisioning and account assignment further.
