In this article, you will learn how to upload and manage sound files on your tenancy. Please follow the step-by-step process below to successfully upload a new sound file.
Once you are in the Agilico Connect portal, navigate the menu on the left side of the page and select ‘Advanced’ at the bottom. You will be greeted with a further drop down menu, select 'Sound Files'.
In this form you will be able to view all of the sound files saved against your tenancy.
- To add a new sound file, click the +Add button.
- Enter a name for the entry, then press the Save icon.
- You will then see a Versions section appear.
- Select the +Add button to add a new file.
- Another form will appear. Here, you will need to enter a name for the file and use the ‘Choose File’ button to select the sound file from your local machine.
- Once you have selected a file, press the Save icon.
You have successfully uploaded a new sound file.
The versions area will now display the name you gave the file, the upload date and whether that version is active or inactive. If you have multiple file versions, you can press the star icon shown below to set that version as the current active version.

To delete old versions, you can use the trash can icon to remove it as shown below.

Tip for a Successful Sound File
File format: The format of the sound file should be an 8 bit U-Law .wav file. To convert a file to the correct format you can use sites like G711.org - Telephony File Converter.
