In this article we cover how to use the three way conference call functionality in the web and desktop app.

Overview

The Agilico Connect web and desktop app support three way conference calling.  The user must be one of the parties, the other two can be either other Connect users or remote parties.

Starting a Conference

To start a conference call, make a phone call as usual.  With a call in progress, press the conference add button.

A conference will start and the call will be promoted in as the primary participant.

To add the third party make another call and again press the conference add button.  All three parties will then be able to speak to each other.

Incoming calls can also be added to a conference using the add button.

Removing a Party

To remove a call from the conference you have two options.

• You may either press the conference remove button.  This will remove the call from the conference and leave it on hold as a regular call.  or;
• Press the end call button for that party.  This will both remove the call from the conference and end the call.

Ending a Conference

To end a conference press the end call button.  This will both end the conference and all calls.  If you want to continue talking to one of the parties after the conference ends, remove them first.

Notes

• The maximum number of parties in a conference call is three.
• You can only have one conference at a time.
• If using DTMF on a conference, only the app user can send DTMF and only the remote party on the first or primary call will receive it.
